ABOUT SHAYE

Introducing the newest rider to #teamtitley – Shaye Land

Born and raised in Charters Towers, Shaye was introduced to the rodeo arena almost as soon as she could walk. With parents who spent their lives competing, it was only natural she’d follow in their footsteps – naturally gravitating towards barrel racing and breakaway roping.

Guided by the lessons learned from her parents, Shaye has developed into a strong competitor with an impressive list of achievements. She’s a multi-winning ABCRA Junior All Round Cowgirl, Junior Breakaway Roping, and Junior Barrel Racing Champion. In 2022, she added two major titles to her name: ABCRA NQ Zone Ladies Breakaway Champion and NQ ATRA Ladies Breakaway Champion.

Away from the arena, Shaye works as a childcare educator and whether she’s at work, in the gym, or spending time with family and friends, she brings the same drive and positivity that she does when competing.
