ABOUT MATT

Matt Stanger has many titles. He is a campdrafter, business owner, horse breeder, husband and dad. Matt grew up in the Charters Towers region, spending his entire life around horses.

Over his career so far Matt has achieved a lot; including winning the Cape York Challenge in 2019, 2021 and 2022 and Horse Of The North in 2016. Today, Matt competes in events all across Queensland and New South Wales.

'Matt Stanger Performance Horses' is owned by Matt and his wonderful wife Katrina. When he isn't competing, you can find him training and working with customer horses to sell. He also works diligently breeding and selling his own horses.

We are excited to welcome Matt back to the team this year and can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for him!
