ABOUT TATE

For those who follow the Australian rodeo world, Tate Van Wel is a very familiar name. After a few attempts at bull riding and bronc riding, Tate soon found his calling in steer wrestling. Ten years later and he's accumulated a host of titles and victories, including the APRA Australian Steer Wrestling Championship in 2019.

Based in Charters Towers, Queensland, Tate also runs two businesses: Horizon Refrigeration Services and Full Noise Sound & Production. Full Noise is dedicated to delivering top quality sound services and unforgettable rodeo entertainment across Queensland. Between being on the road steer wrestling and running Full Noise, there's never a dull moment.
